Snow Mountain Ranch, Fraser, CO

Heritage Camps At This Location

Though we are not directly affiliated with the YMCA of the Rockies, we are fortunate to be able to use their Snow Mountain Ranch facilities in Fraser, Colorado for 4 out of 9 of our camps. A family vacation destination in itself, Snow Mountain Ranch is nestled on 5,100 acres in a beautiful wilderness setting just two hours west of Denver.

Most everything you would like in a Colorado mountain vacation package is right there, including hiking, fishing, canoeing, swimming, roller skating, volleyball, tennis, horseback riding, hayrides, and more!

Snow Mountain Ranch is located a few miles west of the ski resort, Winter Park, which has a full roster of summertime fun and activities. Snow Mountain is also just a few miles east of Granby and Grand Lake, Colorado, both of which boast many summer activities, including boating on large lakes (for Colorado). Forget that expensive skiing in Colorado –summer is the best and most beautiful time to be here!

Lodging Rates for Snow Mountain Ranch Camps

Though each lodging package is individualized per family based on your choice, number in the family, etc., this year’s average lodging rate for a family of four is approximately $267 per night and includes breakfast and dinner. Culture-specific lunches are served as part of Heritage Camp. Each lodge room sleeps anywhere from four to six people, and has a private bathroom.

Camping is also available onsite at Snow Mountain Ranch, ranging from sites with full RV hook-ups to basic tent sites. The average cost to camp is $77 per night. The camp grounds have full heated showers and bathroom facilities.

You can also rent a cabin or yurt at Snow Mountain Ranch, but this is not part of our contract. You must contact them directly at 800–777-YMCA to make your cabin reservation after April 1st, and it is first come, first served only. Cabins fill up quickly!

YMCA Of The Rockies Estes Park Center, Estes Park, CO

Heritage Camps At This Location

While we are not directly associated with the YMCA of the Rockies, we have the privilege of utilizing their Estes Park Center in Estes Park, Colorado for three of our Heritage Camps. The Estes Park Center serves as a standalone family vacation spot.

The significance of Estes Park Center varies among individuals. Those seeking adventure visit for thrilling activities and exploration of numerous trails in the Rocky Mountains. Some opt for arts and crafts classes, peaceful moments on the library deck, or engaging entertainment. Offering a wide array of activities, many complimentary with your accommodation, there is something for every member of your family to enjoy at this location.

Camping

There is no on-site camping at the Estes Park Center, but there is much camping available very nearby in Rocky Mountain National Park, so if you are interested in camping, please contact them directly to make a reservation.

Front Range Community College – Westminster, CO

Camps At This Location

This year, we will be holding two of our camps at the Front Range Community College (FRCC)-Westminster campus! We are thrilled to share that this venue in the Denver metro area offers comfortable indoor spaces for workshops, ample outdoor grassy areas, allows us to bring in our own caterers for lunch, is fully ADA compliant, provides free parking, and boasts a magnificent view of the Rockies. FRCC has proven to be the perfect venue for our heritage Camp experiences.

Lodging Rates for Camp in Denver:

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Drury Inn & Suites Westminster this year, which is just two miles from campus. The room rates for a deluxe double queen are between $180 & $230 per night. This rate includes an indoor-outdoor pool and hot tub. breakfast, Wi-Fi, dinnertime snacks, and 3 free beverages per adult, business center, workout facilities and more A microwave and refrigerator can be found in all rooms. Once your register for camp, you will receive an email with the reservation links to assure you get the group rate. Please do not reserve your room until you receive our email with the appropriate link. Local families are always welcome to stay at the hotel too!
